Built on the 1911 foundation of the original Carriage House and Stables, this
new building and brick courtyard will provide a venue for meetings, conferences,
retreats, symposiums and weddings. In addition, the current programs at Goodwood,
i.e. The Antiques Show, The Garden Symposium and Blended Lives, will be able
to move inside and not be weather dependent. The attendance at these events will
swell since we will be able to provide seating up to 300. Furthermore, since
the plans are for a state-of-the-art facility located near the Capitol and downtown,
with easy access for drop off and parking, we feel confident that there will
be a great demand for the space.
